Lollo & Bernie - I Solens land
Client: Ving, Bookmark
Location: Stockholm
In this exciting project, I was entrusted with reimagining the beloved characters Lollo and Bernie to fit a brand-new children’s book series. Starting with their existing designs, my role was to develop a refreshed visual style that would not only appeal to today’s children aged 3-6, but also seamlessly fit into a new story universe filled with adventure, humor, and warmth.
The project covered a full-color picture book, a board book, and an interactive activity pack, all set in the vibrant and imaginative world of Solens land.
Through playful illustrations and expressive character work, I helped bring Lollo and Bernie’s new world to life — a world where friendship, curiosity, and discovery are at the heart of every adventure.

Variphy
Client: Variphy
Location: Silicon Valley
In this dynamic project for Variphy, my role involved working with both existing brand characters and developing new mascots to expand and enrich Variphy’s visual identity. Through a series of engaging 2D art pieces, I brought these characters to life in a variety of contexts and environments, each designed to reflect the diverse and vibrant nature of the Variphy brand.
The goal was to ensure that all characters, whether newly created or long-standing, felt cohesive and true to Variphy’s personality, while also creating opportunities for deeper connection and engagement with the brand’s audience.

Through the story of Nelly, young readers learn how to set limits and express their feelings confidently, while adults gain a deeper understanding of how to respect those boundaries.
In this project, I focused on expressive character design and storytelling-driven illustrations to bring Nelly’s emotions to life. Every scene is carefully crafted to reinforce the book’s message—whether through body language, color choices, or composition—ensuring that children connect with Nelly’s journey in an intuitive and relatable way.

Help Axis to dare!
Client: Jessica Hellström, Eventolot
Location: Stockholm
In "Do You Want to Help Axis to Dare?" young readers meet Axis, a friendly axolotl learning to overcome fear. As children help him take brave steps, they also discover relaxation techniques to manage their own anxieties.
I focused on creating a visually expressive character that kids could connect with emotionally. The illustrations use color shifts to mirror Axis’s feelings—darker tones when he’s anxious, and bright, calming hues as he gains confidence.
Blending vector art with digital brushwork, I crafted a vibrant underwater world that enhances both storytelling and learning. This project was all about bringing emotion to life through illustration, helping children see and feel Axis’s journey in a way that resonates.
